An excellent presentation tonight from our guest Gemma Sommerfield about When You Wish Upon a Star. This charity aims to make wishes come true for children with life threatening illnesses. Not only have they brought some magic into the lives of thousands of children but also given their families an opportunity to temporarily forget their troubles and enjoy a wonderful experience together.
Our club has supported When You Wish Upon a Star previously by taking part in a fund raising trip and we were pleased to make a donation of £200 tonight. Pictured presenting Gemma with the cheque is Past President David Black.
