Last night the club was delighted to induct its first new member since the beginning of the pandemic, Helen Gooderson from the Half Moon Hotel in Alford.
Helen moved to Alford from South Africa with her husband during the pandemic to take on one of the Alford’s most prominent businesses, the Half Moon Hotel. One of our members quickly spotted Helen might be a good addition to the club and, once it was revealed that Helen had been an active Rotarian in South Africa, the way forwards was clear.
Helen (pictured above in the centre) was inducted by President Judi Rastall (pictured right) under the guidance of Membership Chair John Handley, having been proposed by Rotarian Chris Drew (pictured left).
