The Rotary Club of Alford and Mablethorpe arranged for Santa Clause to visit his temporary home in the attic at Alford Manor house during the Victorian Evening that took place there on 2nd December and the Mayor of Alford Councillor Peter Milson couldn’t wait to be among the visitors.
Getting on for 100 youngsters (some younger than others!) visited Santa during the evening to receive their gifts; Santa said “Alford is one of my favourite visits, sitting in the attic at the Manor House is just like being at home, even the Mayor was just a big kid at heart”
Santa also stayed on to spend a couple of hours at outside the Alford Co-op on the Saturday morning.
