One of the many advantages of becoming a Rotarian is that you are welcome to attend the meetings of any Rotary Club no matter where in the world you happen to be. Visitors may be able to exchange ideas and knowledge between clubs, gain local knowledge if they are in an unknown part of the world or simply enjoy the fellowship.
Last night we were joined by Keith Butters, a member of The Rotary Club of Skegness (our ‘Mother Club’) seeking sponsorship and volunteers for their annual swimathon. A keen Story Teller in Lincolnshire, Keith almost literally sang for his supper as he was asked to stand in at the last minute in the absence of a speaker.
We look forwards to Keiths next visit and remind all Rotarian’s near and far that they are welcome to join us whenever they are in the area.
