When the Rotary Club of Alford and Mablethorpe was chartered in 1978 it joined Rotary District 1270. Sadly 1270 was disbanded in 2016 at which time the club moved to District 1070.
District 1070
Rotary District 1070 covers Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, and Rutland, Southern and Central Lincolnshire and Western Cambridgeshire including the City of Peterborough.
At the time of writing (November 2021) the district comprised 83 clubs and around 2,120 members.
