This was our second year running the barbecue at Farmer Browns for Open Farm Sunday. The clouds eventually gave way to the sun and the event was very well supported.
It was the first engagement of the year for the Rotary Barbecue and we are delighted to announce it was our most successful event yet raising over £1,600 to be spilt equally between Rotary charities and Farmer Brown’s chosen charity which, this year, was Kidney Research.
We had a large team of Rotary volunteers working shifts and helping with set up and pack up so well done to all involved. A big thanks also to everyone who choose to attend the event and treat themselves to a burger or hot dog from our grill.
