Back on the 20th of February we posted here about the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) and how we were particularly pleased this year to have sponsored Oliver and Tegan from the Mablethorpe site of Monks’ Dyke Tennyson College which is closing this summer.
Tonight Tegan and Oliver took time out of revising for their GCSE’s to attend our meeting and tell us about their experience of the four day course. Armed with a well produced power point presentation, they both spoke with confidence and enthusiasm for the course which they clearly enjoyed and I’m sure will never forget.
We now understand exactly what happens at RYLA and I’m sure the club is keener than ever to keep supporting this brilliant project.
