Every year since 1990 Rotary clubs throughout the UK have been working with the KidsOut charity helping them give disadvantaged children a day out (27,000 last year).
The Rotary Club of Alford and Mablethorpe is proud to support KidsOut and last month we took 32 children from Alford, Mablethorpe and Sutton along with their adult carers to Butlins Skegness.
The children had a great time swimming, playing laser quest and generally enjoying all the food and entertainment Butlins offers.
I’m told several fell asleep on the bus ride home so it sounds as though they made the most it!
