We were pleased last week to induct another new member into our global organisation. Roy Cunnigham moved to Sutton on Sea in 2018 purchasing a property just vacated by our very own treasurer. Co-incidentally at his previous address, for ten or more years, Roy lived next door to the membership secretary of the Rotary Club of Thrapston & Raunds though never joined the club.
Roy is an pipework engineer by profession, where his career has mainly been involved in the Energy Industry. Luckily Rotary isn’t strict about professional classifications as it once was as our club has an abundance of engineers!
We look forwards to introducing Roy to Rotary’s activities both in our club and beyond.
