Each year we host an event known as the Club Charter which is effectively a party to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of the club. This year we enjoyed a sunny Sunday afternoon in the gardens of The Alford Manor House followed by a meal in the marquee.
Harpist John Pacey set a wonderful atmosphere and we were entertained by our guest speaker Dr Andrew Mowat who relayed his experiences working in emergency response. Further speeches were given by our District Govenor John Dehnel and our incoming President Nigel Collins.
Thank you to all our guests for joining us, to The Manor House for their flawless service and well done to everyone who worked so hard to ensure the event ran smoothly.
