Santa's Grotto in the Alford Manor House

Our Santa’s Grotto in the Alford Manor House

Every December we bring Santa to the Mablethorpe and Alford Co-ops and the Alford Manor House with presents for children.

The money we collect from Santa’s visitors and members of the public are typically used to support Rotary’s international charity, Rotary Foundation, to which all Rotary Clubs aspire to donate a minimum of 100 US Dollars, per member each year.

2015 Disaster Relief

As a club we are always ready to be flexible and respond to urgent needs which is why in 2015 our Christmas collections were for a disaster relief fund set-up to help the flood hit areas of the UK following heavy rain. Over £1,000 was raised and in August 2016 we received an updated from Rotary District 1040 (Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire) letting us know how the money our community donated is being used.
