Last Saturday we hosted a Barn Dance at Galley Hill Farm in Saleby to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event featured live music from The Rake Up Ceilidh Band with plenty of people enjoying the dancing. A licensed bar borrowed from The Dunes and staffed with Rotary volunteers supplied the drink and a giant hog roast supplied the food.
The event ran like clockwork and there was a great atmosphere all evening. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to those who worked so hard to make it happen.
Thanks to Rotarian Keith Butters for the photo’s of the evening.
The raffle was well supported and raised £345 which boosted the total donation to Macmillan to just over £1,100.

A further £200 profit was generated by the bar which has been presented to the Me & Dee Charity. The adjacent photo shows Club President Nigel Collins presenting the cheque to Debbie Prince.
