The Rotary Club of Alford & Mablethorpe has been contacted by our fellow Rotarians at the Rotary Club of Kyiv with an urgent request for help.
They are supporting children in the previously occupied town of Makariv, many of whom have experienced the trauma of war. These young children have suffered not only physical injuries but also deep psychological and emotional distress.
Together, we can help give them a safe place to heal.
We are raising funds to create a sensory room at Makariv’s pre-school. This specially designed space will provide a calm, nurturing environment where children can begin their psychological rehabilitation, regain emotional balance, and rebuild their confidence through therapeutic play and sensory activities.
Every donation, no matter how large or small, will make a real difference. Your generosity will help provide hope, healing, and a brighter future for children who have already endured far more than any child should.
