The Alford Watch Group is one of around 300 such locally run groups organised by the Wildlife Trust. The groups aim is to get children interested in wildlife and the environment in a very hands on way.
The Rotary Club of Alford and Mablethorpe is eager to support both community and youth projects so we were delighted to be able to help The Alford Watch Group to buy a Digiscope (a digital microscope). The group has been good enough to supply us with a few pictures of it in use including the children’s collection of rodent skeletons retrieved from the owl pellets they have been studying.
