Rotary volunteers were out in force last Saturday evening supporting the Alford Cricket Club’s annual bonfire night, an event which we helped re-establish last year. Despite a rainy start to the day the evening was dry and clear and the event was well attended.
We did a roaring trade having sold out of burgers and hot dogs by the time the fireworks had finished. All the profit from our barbecue goes into our charity account – be sure to like The Rotary Club of Alford and Mablethorpe Facebook Page and we’ll keep you up to date with how it is spent!
